With the good weather here, who are taking avantage of it, and will be training their race team?

 

I will have 7 cocks and 5 hens away for a toss along the coast :rolleyes:

i shall have some of last years laterbred birds out today 25 mile ,with local trainer .

 

cant see the point in training birds that havebeen to 3 or more races this season .

 

they should be fit now , and your doubling the risks of injury or bop attack each time they

 

basketed

MIne wont be doing that much this week, re-paired after last sat race, the cocks are driving now, so not that keen on flying, they are going to st malo this week 315 miles, with the nfc.

 

 

so hoping they should be getting on some fitness now, Fingers crossed for a good section placing, i can dream!! lol

good luck pete , ive not bothered with this one , think birds need a bit more work, never done any good on the short channel races , thats why this time ive bred more engels x van loons to have a go at this distance in the future

cheers stu, fingers crossed. got 1 5 year old, 3, 08 birds, 1, 07, and 3 yearlings going, expecting 7 hours plus?? depending on wind speed give ene on channel, then turning light south inland.

 

My sons 4 latebreds are flying the flag for us in the club race from lulworth, last race for them before being stopped for next year. wanted to send 1 of his to the channel this week, but he said no, glad he has some sense!!! lol :D

There was plenty training around here today. Apparantly they were queing up down the drive this morning trying to get birds on the training trailer.
