saladdodger Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 Today I found a pigeon in my back garden sitting almost asleep. The pigeon was very friendly and let me have a look at the tags on its legs. I read up on the Internet about 'what to do' and followed the instructions given. So some wild bird seed and 2 inches of water went down a treat. The pigeon then jumped on my extension roof and fell asleep for a few hours. Then vanished. So I'm wondering if this lovely pigeon made it home ok. There were 2 tags, the yellow tag seemed blank but the black tag was marked. The tag read: E8381 NWHU 2010 Attached are a few pictures. Thanks Andy

Peckedhen Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Thank you for caring. If the bird doesn't yet have the strength to make it's way home it may well come back to you for another meal - keep your eyes open!
