T2 / T3 Differance ?

what is the differance between the t2 and t3 clocks

Got a T3 but never seen a T2 probably just an up grade from T2 to T3 not sure though.

T2 are set running where the T3 is stopped and started off the master timer.I'm not too familiar with them but just the same to look at as the T3.
