Yes...they really are belters...I bought them about 8 months from a one of the leading G.B.H showers in the UK...(not to mention any names :X).

I wanted to to try and breed them back to the Rapido's to see if I would get a racey looking bird with a fuller head for the 'dove releases', but they paired up straight away...so I let nature do its thing..............I've  had two rounds off them but I'm trying to thin them down abit as I have 15 more Bushies coming next week.........

;D £45.00 for the pair ...........       seems reasonable to me ??            andy

I dont think £22.50 per birds is ridiculous at all..... especially for.........pure white racing pigeons are anywhere between £25 & £35 a bird..all day long.....if not more in some instance...

If you want to go to a farmers market and pay £1.20 for a scraggly fantail..or a fiver for some Birmingham rollers that dont roll then thats fine....but these are quality birds, and not readily available in pure white either.........

What do you think is a fair price for the pair of them ?

Well thats up to him but id say £45 would put of a lot of people. I know wests of good quality are sold for £10/15 a pair and thats why theres a big interest in them, as a young fancier myself I know I couldn't afford £45 and if I could I would expect them to be good show birds.

going price is about £40 for GBH,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Ted

The going price is irrelevent to me, in my opinion its to dear. Its a hobby I dont see the point in trying to make money. I do see the point in trying to get more people into fancy pigeons and at that price I cant see many wanting to.

Its a passion for me aswell but my passion lies in showing and enjoying pigeons, not making money.

I dont directly mean you.
