Guest mick bowler Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Going name this one "Lucky", had her by the tail and she managed to get away but lost all the tail feathers in the process and must just caught her back. It was a male percy attack shortly after letting them out.

JohnQuinn Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 On a serious note, i was getting hit by a hen sparrow hawk every other day until recently, i put up they CD discs on a cross, like a crucifix, with the cross section about a foot long and the CD's attatched to the ends. Never seen the hawk since! Coincidence?

Never seen the hawk since! Coincidence? John i have CDs all around the perimeter fence and i hadnt seen them attack in just over 2 weeks, since i put them out. Its strange that today is overcast and not so sunny and wondered if they were working but not as effective on dull days. The percy is going to need luck now, an awful lot of it!!
