Guest joshdonlan Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 Just let the youngsters out about 1 hour ago and it started to chuck it down they seemes to love it, sat on the roof and wings up etc. When the rain eased they went up and flew for about 25 mins, the longest time so far. Do many people let youngsters out in the rain on purpose to harden them up? As I see it they need to get used to flying in the rain
billt Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 I think living in the UK all our birds have to get used to rain I'm on open loft and my birds are all happy to come out in the rain
OLDYELLOW Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 yes pigeons love the rain if light i have no problem letting them out if heavy i leave them in as they get sodden fluff up and wont come in i like to be in control
