Red Eyes

some of my young birds have got what looks to be red/blood round there eyes, i know its not from fighting, but its puzzling me as to what it is

Have you changed feed or added something to it?, if the birds are looking well it doesn't sound too serious

mainly Jansen based birds , but blood like ?

I've seen red eye ceres in my nipius birds, not sure what it indicates, possible just a natural thing.. the other thought is that they may have been flying through cold weather, rain/sleet as others on here have said.
