T_T Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Hi All, I am thinking of putting my hand in my pocket to purchase a Cat Scarer at B/Pool. Before I do, has anybody had any experience with them.? Do they work,? Which ( if any ) is the best model.?
Blue Chequer Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Hi, I BOUGHT ONE ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO, i CAN'T HEAR IT BUT YOUNGER VISITORS TELL ME IT EMITS AN AWFUL RACKET. i DO NOT SEE MANY CATS BUT THATS POSSIBLY BECAUSE I HAVE TWO DOGS, WHICH IT DOESN'T SEEM TO BOTHER ALTHOUGH ACCORDING TO THE LITERATURE WHEN I BOUGHT IT, IT SHOULD. SORRY CAN'T BE MORE HELP BUT I AM NOT CONVINCED ABOUT THEM. Blue Chequer.

carl Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 I had trouble with mice and rats,so i purchased the mice and rat repellers.there was ans instant reaction and have not found any mice dropping since, the poison i was putting down for the rats has been untouched since installing the repellers. Shop around before you buy i paid £26 each from the homing world then found the same item on the net for £15

Guest Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Do they give off a constant noise as I have two cats of my own, which dont get outside, and dont want to have them going mad if I get a cat scarer??? Cats are territorial and resident tom cat will keep others away. Wondered if you or others have had experience of this and how does your own cat(s) react to your birds?
