gary and his dad tommy had just invested a lot of money in a new family of birds for this year everyone of them birds was destroyed in the fire ..........................we were at a birthday party in billingham synthonia club when i got a phone call saying they were on fire so karl pogson and myself went round there couldnt believe wot we were greeted with to see gary clark stood there helpless was heartbreaking ............................

Is there something we can do, like hold another on line young bird auction, not only will they need a helping hand with birds, but some cash to replace their l;ofts and equipment

Just got back form the carnage and devistation isnt a strong enough word. To see a life times work go up in smoke is one of the worse things as a pigeon man you can witness, The photos show the bodies of the dead birds and believe me it was difficult cleaning this lot up.

 

Clean it up we have done, all the members of the club have been there helping sort this disaster out. The whole area is virtually cleared and ready for the rebuild., and rebui;d they will do, we wont let SCUM like this win.

 

i would like to thank all the members who have helped today, its good to see everyone pull together and you can bet we will all help gary and Tommy where we can.

 

I will try and keep everyone upto date with progress but as you can imagine things will be a little hectic in the coming weeks 4 weeks to racing and we havent got any equipment as the basket shed was the other building to be fired, the photo with the van in the picture should be blocked by a 30 foot club house aswell as Tommy and Gray's loft

Oh my god!!!- Cant even imagine how you all feel - I've read about arson attacks but your pictures really are graphic Ian. Must be devastating.

The offer of some youngsters seems somewhat trivial in the light of such an event but if it helps in even the smallest way by letting these poor people know that we are thinking of them, count me in for a couple of pairs!

Gary has just got of the phone to me i cant say how i feel right now as the swearing would get me banned from the site. Some stock from my loft were there n now some young will be on there way up there to restart him. Gary keep ya chin up n get the new loft build dont let them grind you down mate.
