THE FIFER Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 thanks hyacinth, jimmy and i got it over to the marie curie and the reporters that pigeons were safe as far as the avian flu goes, and that the public needs to be assured, as u see by the photos the lady from the marie curie had no fear, and the birds were liberated in a very busy place in the car park at sainsbury supermarket, and the people there were very interested in the liberation, pity we could not get more of this during this time to let the public feel happy, they are always interested to see the white birds they seem to think they are lovely, jimmy and i explained that homing pigeons were well looked after and faccinated each year,
THE FIFER Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 i was watching u jimmy, anyway doc it was nice meeting u and ur pics are first class, yes jimmy the gran/son was of school sick, and his photos are going to be in the papers, hope his teachers don't get the east fife mail, the courier or the record. hes still wearing that hat.
celtic Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Well done to "The Fifer" and Doc white for doing pigeon fanciers another great service, anyone who was at the liberation and asked either of these two gents ANYTHING at all about pigeons would have found out whatever they wanted too know, Doc white never ceases to amaze me with the knowledge that he crammed in that head off his, i,m sure he must get fed up with me phoning up asking advice and then normally coming down to our house to show me this little trick or that little trick...things that you can only hope that an expierenced fancier will reveal to you, i've only had the doos not even a year now and i,ve lost count off the number off times he's given me advise that i could,nt read about in any pigeon book !! thanks again jimmy, you know it's appreciated and once again well done to "the fifer" Archie for all the great work he does.
THE FIFER Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 U WONT GO VERY WRONG LISTENING TO ADVICE FROM JIMMY, "HE JIMMY WE BETTER STOP RUBBING EACH OTHERS BACK LIKE THIS OR THEY WILL BE TALKING ABOUT US"
