I would like the members opinions on this subject , a fancier that used to fly in my club had a entire clearance sale 2 years ago , but he still keeps pigeons , he resigned out of the club when he had his sale , but openly comes to meetings to speak his mind , is this right or not?

He also handles club pigeons on a marking nights and is really still very active in the sport , even though he cannot fly.

I would like members opinions.

WHEN YOU RESIGN FROM THE CLUB, ALL TIES WITH THE CLUB THEN COME TO AN END,YOU CAN GO ALONG TO BASKETING NIGHTS ETC ,IF THE CLUB ALLOW THIS.ALL CLUB MEETINGS ARE FOR CLUB MEMBERS ONLY,I THINK YOUR CLUB PRESIDENT SHOULD HAVE A WORD WITH THIS GENTELMAN,NOW.

no harm in the bloke goin to the club but birds or clocks should not be messed wiv by the person.Also he shouldnt speak up at meeting ect as he is resignd and has no part in club decisions

Agree that a none member shouldn't handle other peoples birds or clocks and keep their mouths shut at meetings

they say he resigned from the club rose. u can be a non flying member in rpra, but is so u are limitted to ur say at meetings, not sure about being a member of rpra after entire sale will ckeck and get back. is he still a member of rpra.

i he still wants to be involved in club practices then he should pay his subs and become a member.

if he is no longer a member he can not be involved in club meetings

I think time restrictions after entire clearance sales no longer apply. Doesn't appear to be anything laid down by either SHU or RPRA.

Maybe inherent injustice in such a ruling was recognised - illness, marraige break-up, neighbour problems, even basic moving house could all be reasons ... and it was repealed?

RPRA has a curious rule regarding 'non-flying members'. Rule 160 page 14 of current BHW pull-out. Maybe the individual is a 'non-flying member' of your club?

if he he resigned he would'nt be at any of our club meetings thats for sure

BRUNO THE RPRA RULE REGARDING ENTIRE CLEARANCE SALES ARE AS ROSE SAID AND SHU I THINK U CANNOT BECOME A MEMBER OF THE SHU FOR 3 YEARS, AS IN SHU RULES TO BE A MEMBER U MUST HAVE A LOFT HOUSING RACING PIGEONS .

Missed the RPRA rule (137): as you both say, time and other penalties still stand. Still can't find equivalent SHU rule though.

Don't want to open a can of worms on SHU rule about members must have pigeons. I do know of at least one member who doesn't have pigeons or a loft. And what about a person employed as a loft manager, but doesn't own the pigeons or loft?

(1) I don't know enough about it but the bit from the constitution you quote simply talks about a club of not less than 5 members having pigeons, with seperate lofts etc, it doesn't say that 'the other club members' must have pigeons too ;

(2) Kinda defeats the Union's object (a) The provision of an organisation for persons interested in pigeon racing & showing in all its branches.
