Guest Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 im trying to keep an eye on the weather/wind etc for this weekend. i use xcweather for the wind and weather.co.uk for the weather conditions. were flying from the other side of london right across the country to north wales so would be gratefull of any news ideas as to what you think the wind will be off other sites you may use. cheers.
Mike Lycett Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Largely Easterly presence all week - means it's bound to be Westerly on Saturday
Tony C Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 You'll find a few links here that are useful http://www.itadvice.co.uk/weatherjack/wx.htm
Guest Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 we at maidstone with the welsh south east national
Guest Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 UNC fairly close to Maidstone for our first Combine race - hope we dont have any clashing!! - Pointless trusting weather.co.uk, it is rarely very accurate. I always compare it and the BBC met office forecast and they normally give different forecasts!!
slatey Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 going on what they said for last weekends weather see what its like on sat because they are sh*t all of them, they all said last weekends weather was a wash out straight down the middle of the country so thus at 7pm we canceld the race from newbuy they then changed their mind fri dinner sat was ok up to 13;00 so we canceld for nothing. so weather forcasters for me are sh*t they couldnt forcast a p*ss up in a brewery
PIGEON_MAN Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT BY NOW THAT NO PIGEON FANCIERS WOULD TAKE ANY NOTICE AT ALL OF WHAT THE SO CALLED EXPERTS SAY ABOUT THE WEATHER,THE ONLY TIME I TAKE NOTICE IS WHEN THEY TELL ME WHICH WAY THE WIND IS BLOWING WHEN THE BIRDS HAVE BEEN LIBERATED,AND EVEN THAT LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED SOMETIMES.
