Congratulations to W&G Flockart on winning Reims, a name that has always been associated with distance flying for many a year & to all the section winners and all fanciers that timed in,

I believe it was a great race, best channel race for a long time.

And a big well done to there secretery who had a result out by Monday morning.

 

YES PENDER the write ups on the SNRPC winners etc is crap same as last year, but i think you will notice one section will be well publicised this time round.

So why do you think the press coverage is poor , just curious.

silv will be happy at that 6th open . he has helped a lot of people in the past always ready to give advice if it is sought, and not frightened to give a pigeon away to help someone out.

Wrong man as PRO Chris. Absolutely nothing against the PRO, met him a few times in the past and lately and he is a good bloke. He wrote himself in the BHW & RP last

year that he would not go out his way to get material etc and lets face it last years performances (including your own, Chris) should have got alot more coverage in my own opinion. But i say again I have nothing against the PRO.

The SNRPC needs big changes and everyone singing from the same sheet if its going to survive thats a Fact.

You asked the question Chris, so there you have it MY honest opinion.

With ref to the pro there have been some comments made about him i think you have to know the man better to make comments like that the man took the job on because of circumstances that happend at the start of the season 2005 when no-one else wanted to do it and please remember the man is the wrong side of 70 and with a very severe disibilty and i dont see a BIG LONG LINE of people wanting the job Ian went out of his way to try and arrange local scribes to do the write ups but only one or two done it so if people are not happy then the job is there for any one who wants it but remember lads it dosent pay alot.
