Excuse me if I do a little bragging, took 17 Crochet items to the Fair (County Show)

Took 16 first prizes and one second and had 4 of my items on the Judges Table for best in show, which was won by a quilter,

Thanks very much, I crochet to pass the long winter away and when I'm waiting for my birds to come in from racing.

My eyes are getting slightly defunct this was proved when I tried to call 2 crows in in race day lol

Way to go Linda!!!! Aren't county fairs fun!!??? Did you crochet all those in one year? What kind of items are they? Your amazing! All that you do! I learned to crochet when I was a little girl but never seem to find the time for it these days.

I love the County Fairs and I have entered my work in the Deschutes in a couple of weeks.

Being as I am out in the boonies, I usually do my work in the winter, but I'm never without it when I'm travelling or waiting for a race to come home.

I entered a variety of items some only smalll like pot holders baby shoes and gloves, but I did a full crhistening outfit and an afghan.  I've already started for next year with a Queen sized afghan which is an exact copy of the Stars and Stripes.

Thanks for your kind words.
