Mike Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 In an article Hans-Peter Brockamp said he prepares his extreme long distance team by using water soluable "catosal", a concentrated animal protein called APF90, and lecithin oil mixed with Probac Energy. The Brockamp team just placed 5 birds in the top 100 International from Perpignan. Now, I use "Probac" from Colin Walker, the Austrailian vet, but I've never heard of "Proback Energy", nor could I find it on the net. A Yahoo search turned up "Catosal" as an injectable "metabolic stimulant" - also on a fighting cock site as an energy booster, i.e. metabolic steriod. And I can find no reference at all to APF90. Has anyone heard of any of these products? Or has had any experience with them. Thank you!
REDCHEQHEN Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 It looks like he manufactures/ sells it....... http://www.probac.de/probac_energy.htm http://www.probac.de/eiweiss.htm http://www.probac.de/produkte.htm copy and paste to a translator - its in German http://world.altavista.com/tr
Mike Posted August 7, 2006 Author Report Posted August 7, 2006 Thank you! I don't know why Yahoo didn't turn this up. After reading through the products, I'm afraid I don't see anything here that is revolutionaryly different than the basic kind of good feed and horse vitamins I give my birds now. Thanks, again. Best
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 IF YOU ARE GIVING YOUR BIRDS HORSE VITAMINS DO THEY JUMP OUT THE BASKET QUICKER ?
Mike Posted August 7, 2006 Author Report Posted August 7, 2006 No, but I do have to shoe them. Maybe that is why I didn't so well last season.
superstar Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Ive been shoo-ing mine for years but the sods keep comming back! All that stuff sounds a bit dodgy to me though, i think that blokes birds should have been tested after they came back.
Guest shadow Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Just another way to make drug makers rich keep it simple.
