nehu futurity race scheduled for 28th august 2006 from stratford on avon (165ish miles to middlesbrough) has an approximate prize fund of £35,500 less expenses will be paid out as follows .......approx

 

1st................... £6000

2nd ................  £2800

3rd....................£2300

4th ....................£1100

5th.....................£700

6th-14th............£650

15th-30th..........£300

 

breeder buyer  of which there was 229 birds sold

 

1st ..................£2,000

2nd..................£900

3rd,..................£800

4th...................£400

5th-14th..........£200

15th-30th....... £100

 

POOLS

pooling shall be 50p £1 £2 £3 £5 & £10 each pool will be divided into prizes of 20 times the entry fee of that pool all pool monies to be marked in register on day of marking

 

there will also be a special poolof £2 winner takes all

the race will close at 9.30 pm on the day of liberation .in the event of insufficent birds being recorded in race time to take all of the prizes then the prize money not won will be divided equally between those birds timed in. should no birds be recorded in race time or should the race be declared void, then the prize money will be divided between those birds basketted.

 

the race controller shall be the president of the nehu. birds will be convoyed by the up north combine

 

disputes will be goverened by nehu rules and will be heard by the full managemaent committee

One bloke in our club has a team of 30 pigeons for this at £10.00 a ring he's got more money than me. Funny thing is his normal team is flying great but the team he has for this keep landing in the fields, sods law eh the language is the harshest I've ever heard

Good stuff I'm going to get a few rings just for the crack can't accord 30.00 through!!!! Will get 3-5 rings me thinks.

thought members were only allowed 20 fut rings per loft and is it true that we cant transfere them

They had to be transferred for breeder/buyer didn't they ?

 

I thought 20 was the maximum as well. Though if any body is willing to spend that amount of money - let them I say

i too thought 20 was the maximum and it was also my understanding that birds sold were transfered, but the breeder had a chance at the breeder prize (which of course comes without the stress of having to train the bird yourself)
