Guest Paulo Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 When you read through the homing world there are tons of firms building lofts but they all seem to be miles and miles away from the northeast of england. Can anyone recommend a firm from the Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland areas as I imagine the deliverly costs in ordering a loft from one of these firms in the homing world would be huge.

mealybar Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 If your buying a decent sized loft they will travel People in my club/fed (North East) have a crack at making their own lofts from scratch, usually a few members all help out and some of the lofts built by them are remarkable.

I made the first one myself or rather my tradesman the old man did but my joinery skills are crap if I make the second one myself it would look crazy lol plus I'm a busy man like you richard with working fulltime and being a part time student so think I'll have a stab at converting a garden shed.
