Some bad and good news :-/

 

Over the weekend, what I'm pretty sure was a rat, got into the stock loft and took the two Staff Van Reet ybs, and also another yb from another section. In the time since I've secured the way it got in, and split a number of the stock birds - whilst securing their stock pens. I was well p'd off that this happened, but at least they did not take any of the stock birds.

 

The better news is that my last hatching of this year - which I was going to keep as latebred stock - hatched 2 days ago. These will now be the birds on offer for the raffle. They are Karel Boeckx pigeons from John Harcus and Derek Parr origin. I'll put a couple of photos and more details up later.
