Westwater Assassin Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I would like to congratulate Gavin Aitken and Family from Kennoway on Winning the "KINGDOM ASSOCIATION FANCIER OF THE YEAR 2006". The Aitken family have achieved results with there pigeons that most of us will only dream of, in the last 6 years there team of Mardon Van Reets have have gained over 40 First prizes and many First Federations places (birdage up to 4000 birds) They were the Fife Federation fanciers of the year in 2004 and now Kingdom association Fanciers of the 2006. I was visiting the Aitken lofts last week and was informed that due to health issues all the birds were going to be sold. This partnership work there pigeons hard and stick to system which has been tried and tested (and also works) therefore no passengers are kept in there lofts. It will be a sad day to see these pigeons go but to all the fanciers out there who moan about "NOT" winning !!! save your pennies up and come along to this sale as you will "NOT BE DISSAPOINTED" these pigeons can only be described as "PURE CLASS". Once again WELL DONE GAVIN, WILLIE and ESPECIALLY GRACE all the best for the Future Westwater Assassin

If you can do yourself a favour and attend the sale as you will go a long way before you get better bred Van Reets with performances as well.
