Showing racing pigeons , yes or no ?

, our club shows are about to start on the 14th of november, as much as i would love to support our club,  i am , unsure about as to wether i should disturb the birds on these dark , dank , nights (restarted this year , so they are all 2008 pigeons) as you can imagine , most are darkness pigeons, with flights to throw, and the odd later one has only been trained lightly,

local run pigeon shows will know conditon of birds at these times are like , however select them as you see fit picking the better moulted pigeons or ones gone through the moult it's only a bit of fun and if you manage to pick up a few cards all well and good i have shown once and picked up quite a few cards but i only sent to show because these birds would be in a show race 50 / 50 half of winnings split between show and race it was the race i wanted so the show was a bonus

show um and leave in basket till morning they will soon settle i harte putting in loft late as they could fly round and damage themselfs best luck in shows

our club has the show on a sunday morning at least you can get your birds back in the lofts ect wont your club do it in the day mate

from my past experience , i am not sending to win cards , but my live in lover !!!!(her indoors) is new to the game this year, and her white one (topaz) !! maybe a world beater !!! lol.  hope the judge is watching and remembers its name !!! lol

our club works in mysterious ways jason, when it was pointed out that the last show clashed with the fed prizegiving, nothing was changed !!!!i was gobsmacked

Grizzles are ok but not many white ones win. They need to be very very special indeed

we show our racing pigeons most weeks from now till Blackpool, [ different ones each show obviously ] but we are at a show nearly every weekend from now till January but the birds we intend to go to Blackpool will be well rested before then.

I echo Tammy. I have a loft of 50 Dordins/Kilpatricks all bought for the showing side of things and my birds are broke into teams as I also will show every sat/sun now till Blackpool
