Guest Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Don't make us jealous Anthony, I know what the weather is like in Malta at this time of the year, spent 2 weeks at St. Georges Bay, had a couple of rainy evenings but went home with a lovely sun tan. Felt very weird sitting in Valetta eating pasta outdoors with all the Christmas decorations about.

T_T Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Anthony, We paid a vist to St Pauls bay ? some 15yrs ago and had a lovely time. Golden Bay and the Blue Lagoon were really nice and I think it's about time we went back to refresh our memories on how lovely it all is.
Guest anthony Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 T-T you will defenetialy notice some changes over here, some perts of the island has been transformed to whole towns.I think in a way we are losing that old carateristc they call it progress!!!! Anyway you are most welcome here and please give me a call
Guest Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 I didn't get to meet any pigeon flyers while I was out there, do you still race first in clock or have you started working with distances now. It's interesting to note that from what I heard all your races are over water is this still the case and do you still have lofts on the roofs of yur houses that can be moved on runners according to the direction of the wind ???. "The Kappilan of Malta" is one of my all time favourite Books
Guest anthony Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 The nearest point and the shortest race is 90 miles away that is all sea water. our island as you know is only 20 miles by 10 miles. We still race first in the clock,if you clock 4 seconds after the first one nobody will mention your pigeon here.yes we still have our lofts on the roofs, our roofs are flat(no snow here)
T_T Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Anthony, In progress, I hope you mean ( as well as other things ) TRAFFIC LIGHTS lucky to get out of there alive. LOL.
