lol well im only getting 50 rings i tend to ring them on the left leg but mistakes do happen and they go on the right

no no difference at all, just that if you put it on certain leg makes it a little easier for ringer on race night, but then if the ringer is left handed etc it dont really matter, if you ge twhat i mean

;D I will be having 40 rings same as last year , but this year i wont be raising as many youngsters ! I have always rung on the left leg , i find this easier because i catch the bird hold it in my right hand (right handed) and remove the rubber with my left hand ready to clock ? I find the majority ring the right leg , still happy with my way , if any strays enter i can usually pick them out easier !      ;D       thanks andy

120 IV ORDERD FROM THE NATIONAL WILL BREED 50-60 YOUNGENS AND A FEW LATE BREDS THE REST WILL BE SOLD ON PIGEONS.

 

I RING MINE ON THE LEFT JUST BECAUSE I SUPPOSE ITS A FAMILY TRADITION.

 

WHEN I RING THEM I MAKE SURE THE NUMBER IS FACEING UP SO WHEN U GO TO THE CLUB IT MAKES IT EASYER FOR THE PERSON PUTTING THEM THREW.

i have resigned as a flying member(but will return to flying in y/b,s) but still hold office as the clubs secretary i cannot by welsh homing rules order rings from the club i am secretary for!.

although i can order them for the club as im ring sec too.

i think this is a rule that should be changed, as i can order rings seperatly by myself, where is the sense in this rule?....i understand this rule if i wasnt a member of any club....is this the rule for rpra too??

hi gerraint m8,yea i resigned as i have no old birds to race with and i am starting back up with youngbirds this year,dont know if u know but i had to get rid of all my pigeons this year and starting all over again.

the union have this rule stating that non flying members cannot purchase rings from a club!!..so as stated i hold an official post in the welsh homing union at club level but cannot purchase rings from that club lol....lunacy dont u think :'(
