johnny11 Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Keep your pigeons flying is by whitney Good read, another one is four seasons essential for new starter also have the secret of speed and the Osman one (red cover)
Pompey Mick Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 I also think Dave Allen's 'The Widowhood Year' is a real interesting read and also for a pigeon related book I think 'The Public Life of the Street Pigeon' is full of facts and photos of Domestic Pigeons and is worth a read. But the best read of all must be 'Winning Naturally' by the Late, Great, Alf Baker
Guest Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 I asked Nigel Cowood this a few year's back and he said The four seasons, a masterpiece written yonks ago, having reread it I must agree.
Wiley Posted November 30, 2006 Author Report Posted November 30, 2006 'Winning Naturally' by the Late, Great, Alf Baker, that is true some fanciers consider this a bible, what a pigeon he had 'the plum' i would love to have been there to listen to the stories in person of the plum.
