2007 Young Bird Open Classic Wakefield

 

 

 

This race is to be flown from our final young bird race in 2007 (date to be confirmed) and will be Open to Dundee, Angus and Fife Federations flown under SHU Rules.

 

 

 

Each loft will have the opportunity of nominating up to 20 rings at £5.00 each which will be the only pigeons liable to compete on that day in this Open Classic Race, exactly the same as gold ring competition of recent years.

 

 

 

Open Prize Money based on the sale of 500 entries will be 1st Open:£1000 ; 2nd Open:£300 ; 3rd Open:£200 with a further £200 being awarded to each federation winner.

 

There will be Open Prizes of £50.00 for 4th,5th,6th,etc till all monies are exhausted and again this will be confirmed once all entries have been submitted.

 

 

 

A full list of members entrants will be submitted to each loft entering and will include race rules, entry sheets, marking and clock reading etc.

 

 

 

Some simple guildlines to follow at the moment are:

 

1.Race to flown from Wakefield on 1st September 2007 (date may change dependant on final race programme being set).

 

2.Each ring number entered will cost £5.00 per ring and with a maximum entry being 20 rings, please note it would a great help if members rings were in sequence eg. First 10 rings from there allocation.

 

3.Closing date for entering ring numbers will be 14th February 2007 which will make it fair for all entrants.

 

4.Each member entering will then receive a full list of all ring numbers entered within 14 days and an update of prize money etc.

 

5.10% of total entries will be retained by the Dundee Federation to cover any costs.

 

6.Entry sheets will be made available which will include pools likely to be A:25p / B:50p / C:£1.00 / D:£2.00 / E:£3.00 / F:£5.00 / NOM:£2.00 / FED.NOM:£2.00…pools payout 20-1.

 

7.All entry monies to be paid for before 1st July 2007.
