ACE LOFTS Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 thats the first iv heard. then again i think some 1 is telling porkys wiley.
Guest Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 apparently there were over 450 resignations put in, from discontented members with last years season. Sure I read it somewhere like the minutes but that is definately the number being talked about.
Wiley Posted January 10, 2007 Author Report Posted January 10, 2007 yea they mentioned it at a combine meeting and it was brought back to my federation meeting! I might be wrong only saying what i heard at the meeting :-/
ACE LOFTS Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 damm they must have taken a big blow then.
Wiley Posted January 10, 2007 Author Report Posted January 10, 2007 damm they must have taken a big blow then. yes defaintly ace thats why i was asking NFC members if they can enlighten us on the situation cos 600 members is alot of members to lose
RoryTheRed Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 It was in last weeks or the weeks before pigeon weeklys; sure i read a few letters about the situationin in these mags as well. If my memory is correct alot of south coast boys resigned due to the Chale race; though Section D were screwed with the Sennon Cove race choice.
blackjack Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Approx 450 resignations at the 2006 agm that is correct.
peterpau Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Approx 450 resignations at the 2006 agm that is correct. That sounds about right to me. My son and me amongst them. Tiz all about providing a service. Not milking a cash cow.
Pompey Mick Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I have just received a newsletter from the NFC outlining the whole Transporter saga and the reasons behind the decision to develop these state-of-the-art Transporters (EU livestock regulations) Hopefully future developments will justify the actions of the committee in providing National members with an approved means of livestock transport which conforms to future EU regulations. My only regret is why this open & frank report was not produced before the AGM.
