Peckedhen Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Ok, I lost the felt off my loft today. All the birds are on eggs......I'll have to replace the felt but, will the hammering upset the birds? I don't want them to come off their eggs! :-/
sapper756 Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 SHOULD BE OK, I DO ALOT OF WORK IN THE LOFT WITH BIRDS IN.

Peckedhen Posted January 18, 2007 Author Report Posted January 18, 2007 Thanks - can someone give me a link to 'burn on felt' please? I've done a search but can't come up with anything!!
jimmy white Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 should get the burn on stuff at any builders merchant,, it probably is the best,,, but as far as hammering and sawing and working on lofts , doesnt seem to bother them that much , ive had trouble the last week with the winds , with the felt blowing loose but stuck it down temporary with mastic,, its dry at the mo anyway ;D
Chatrace Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Put a raido in he loft ,they get used to noise, use a staple gun to put felt paper down
RoryTheRed Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I have used the hoover in the loft and they don't move an inch. My felt came off a month ago due to high winds and they were landing on my back while i tacked it on.
Peckedhen Posted January 19, 2007 Author Report Posted January 19, 2007 Thanks everyone, that's reassuring.....so guess what I'll be doing this weekend!? ;D
westy Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 it will be fine i have used a drill putting avairy on with birds in did not bother them.
