Ok, I lost the felt off my loft today. All the birds are on eggs......I'll have to replace the felt but, will the hammering upset the birds? I don't want them to come off their eggs! :-/

get burn on felt last a lot longer              

 

thats what i used a couple of weeks ago when we had all the storms, dont need any nails

should get the burn on stuff at any builders merchant,, it probably is the best,,, but as far as hammering and sawing and working on lofts , doesnt seem to bother them that much , ive had trouble the last week with the winds , with the felt blowing loose but stuck it down temporary with mastic,, its dry at the mo anyway ;D

i do loft alterations quiet often they dont take blind bit of notice some can be pains when ive got a hammer in my hand like flying on my head or shoulders

thats jus cos they mistake ure ears for perches lol
