Seems that the 'Sun City' race is causing a bit of smoke and what not. Birds disappearing, not train, and sent covered in pox or whatever.

This mag is on a free trial period of a month... wel worth radin I guess. Then one can make up their own minds.

We quit shipping the Sun City Race several years ago I am glad they are finally getting exposed for what they really are I am just sorry so many fanciers had to suffer getting ripped off by these people. I think the real tragedy here is the little guys who got burned I know 3 guys who saved all year to come up with the money to fly this race it was always an elusive dream to win the Sun City race and to compete with the big boys we used to excitedly sit around the computer waiting for results calling each other and speculating how we had finished and dreaming of the big win this is the real tragedy of this situation how many others banded together with their friends and clubmembers to put up the money and birds for this race and now to hear news like this knowing that your hard earned money and best bred birds never even had a shot at winning because some wretched *expletive removed* was more concerned with making a buck than doing an honest days work, its just sickening I thought that it was a similiar situation in the World Ace Challenge after hearing how that supposedly Barry Yu had rigged the whole thing after visiting there and seeing the conditions and meeting the people involved I am extremely confident that this is not the case in fact after seeing how it finished I can say that there is no way this rubbish could be true if it is Mr. Yu would have to be a complete imbicle to have tried this there, no I think the worst part of this is that Sun City screwed the participants and the sport and then tried to discredit honest promoters in effect lumping themselves in with legitimate hard working fanciers by just automatically assuming that the World Ace guys were as lecherous as themselves I think ALL the guilty partys in Sun City should be ran out of the sport they should be put on the cover of every pigeon magazine in the world and labeled for what they are and make it so unpleasant for them thay they are afraid to catch commies under the bridge stealing the money is bad enough but pissing on the dreams of fanciers the world over is quite another thing
