Guest TAMMY_1 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 ONCE YOU HAVE OPENED A BOTTLE OF VACCINE HOW LONG WOULD YOU FEEL SAFE TO STORE IT AND CONTINUE TO USE THE SAME BOTTLE AS NOT ALL YOUNG BIRDS ARE READY AT THE SAME TIME ?
Guest jason Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 I've known fanciers use it 6 months after opening, but they keep it in the fridge after opening. hope this helps Jason

Guest shadow Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 as long as it it used by the expiry date on bottle and kept in fridge
ALF Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 JUST THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE I BUY ENOUGH TO DO THE YOUNGSTERS AND TO HAVE ENOUGH LEFT OVER TO DO THE WHOLE LOT AGAIN AROUND XMAS OUT OF THE SAME BOTTLE JUST KEEP IT IN THE FRIDGE TILL I NEED IT!!!
westy Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 i have myne from last year and was told to keep it for this season.
Guest Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Like the other posts, I keep it in the fridge and use before expiry date. Only slight difference from the other posts is that I buy my fresh batch for my youngsters to be done in July, no less than 2 weeks before training begins. My reason for doing so is that they can fly next year's June, July races without further vaccination as they are still within the 12 months period. The vaccine left over is refrigerated for use on the late breds & racers 2yo and over late January, no less than 2 weeks before pairing up.
