Been to Todmorden hs. AGM tonight (just got in) I'm am very,very,very, SORRY to say that the ONE-LOFT race will have to be cancelled because the bloke who does the result sheet, will not put 12 of my kids pigeons on the result sheet.

 

Therefore no truth in the result

I'm actually crying as I write this, but all money paid to us will be returned, I feel I should quit this forum (hanging my head in shame) I will be resigning from Todmorden hs and packing in my website and pigeons alltogether.

 

All I was trying to do was show the sport off a little but its not good enough and I've been told tonight, there won't be a club in Todmorden in 5 years.

 

Its really pissed me off , but why should I carry on trying to promote our sport when my own club mates can't be bothered!.

I do not understand about he wont put the birds on the result sheet what difference does that make? Just put marker rings on the one loft birds and time them into a different clock You yourself then can do the one loft birds result. It is not a case of trust as you are looking after the birds anyway and could stop a bird from winning if you so pleased. All you will need is a copy of the rubber ring that was put on race sheet then you will know what birds had them on when you open the clock or you can just write them down as they come in.

There is a way round everything just find it.

Why dont you have a second clock set, time your 12 one loft birds into this apart from any you time within your first few birds..

 

Let us (Mark) know the times distance etc and he will work out the results for you, post on forum and keep full records updated with points etc etc..

 

Dont let the NEGATIVE club members beat you..let us know

I've calmed down a bit this morning, and there will be a way around this problem, I'll have a think about, and let you know later.

 

I'd really like to know if pigeonbasics members are still interested in the one-loft series, it can go ahead as planned but the bloke who does the result at Todmorden hs says and I quote 'I'll put the first three on the result sheet and the rest on a seperate sheet with no velocities, but they will be in order that they're timed'

so the birds which arrive in that order will still get the points, just no velocity.
