Sean,

Words will not express the disgust I feel towards your so called 'clubmates'

It may be very difficult to do, but stick it out. Gangster is right in advising to keep your cool. Your motivation is a point of principle, and nothing stronger exists. Fear not for the outcome....I am confident it will be in your favour, because you still have many avenues to go down with this case, should the need arise.....least of all the European Court of Human Rights....I think they would love this !!!!!!

Stay strong my friend.....stay strong.

You and your Son are in our thoughts.

My Sincerest and most humble Best Wishes.

Paul.

Sean,

My advise would be to ask AT the meeting.

Ask to see minute book, and also a copy of the club rules. Remember these rules should also have been ratified by the governing body ( Union ) as they may have 'by-laws' which could be in contradiction to the Union's standing.

Best wishes

Paul.

the club should be brought in to disrespute, their breaking the rules not giving you the proper notice for a meeting , their in the wrong just for ONE start ,, i think i would have a" few starts" after that ,, its just downright shocking,   THAT RULE COULD NEVER BE RATIFIED BY THE UNION , IF THE MEETING WAS IMPROPER.  i know how mad you must be sean , but as gangster says try your best to keep calm [hard as it will be] and deal with it in the proper way, most fanciers would do there utmost to get young lads or lasses involed in any way, so like everyone else , i think the members of your club should be utterly ashamed of them selves ,,,it makes yourblood boil,, i hope the union can sort things out for you, and hope the members see some compassion  and sence, [ stick in sean]

All members should have a copy of the rules which must be updated and reissued every 2-3 years.

Wow

Have just read these posts over lunch, and I am gobsmacked we still have deadwood such as these clubmen in our sport.

Do they really want to see the sport die a very quick death.

I can't beleive how you are both being treated Sean, stick with it.

I agree with Ronnies earlier post, you mentioned naming and shaming very early on in the posts, I would write to the RP and BHW tell them of the scenario, and I am sure some club locally would welcome you with open arms.

Good Luck
