Longest time missing

What is ythe longest time you know of a pigeon that had been raced, missing.?  

I can remember my dad sending a Dk Pd C ( named Seagull ) to France and not getting him.  Eighteen months later, looking out of the window, he saw this cock dive straight through the open doors into his old nestbox.

1 month for me i was at school the bird was sent to taunton

when i was racing in the late eighties we lost a red griggle only to have him return home seven years later

Like Marvin we once had a bird return after SEVEN years. She was lost in a YB race from Burton-on-Trent and arrived back almost seven years to the day later. From the look of her she had probably spent most of the time as a streeter !

about 3 weeks for me but my farther had 1 back last month it had been missing for 7 months.

I lost a hen in 1st YB race, turned up 9 moths later with birds from 1st OB race, racepoints much the same.
