T_T Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 What is ythe longest time you know of a pigeon that had been raced, missing.? I can remember my dad sending a Dk Pd C ( named Seagull ) to France and not getting him. Eighteen months later, looking out of the window, he saw this cock dive straight through the open doors into his old nestbox.

Guest marvin Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 when i was racing in the late eighties we lost a red griggle only to have him return home seven years later
David Swain Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Like Marvin we once had a bird return after SEVEN years. She was lost in a YB race from Burton-on-Trent and arrived back almost seven years to the day later. From the look of her she had probably spent most of the time as a streeter !
