Guest Paulo Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Got some young uns to settle that are quite big heard you can soap their wings how do you do this as I have never done it before. Do you wash it off when you are finished with it, how do you apply it etc
stevebelbin Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 You can use washing up liquid, just do it on one wing, just rub work it in the ten main flights. Then when they are done dip them in warm water to remove. Make sure they cant bath outside, for obvious reasons ;D
Guest Paulo Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 why do you only do one wing does that unbalance them?
stevebelbin Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 If you do both they can still fly, but if you just do the one they go round in circles, it the same when you cut them down
pigeonscout Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Just put a rubber band round the last 5 flights to hold them as one flight.

Guest CS Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Don't use it neat - it ruins the flights :B :B :B Yes but it helps (30 to 40 days old) youngsters not to fly early, so they have a time to look around outside.
crazy pigeon boy Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 i make it up with water and just dip one wing this does the same job
