Imagine beating the very best on the continent, its a chance you cant turn down. International One Loft Race. Date; 5th September 2007. Total Prize Money of over 100,000 Euro (based on 2000 pigeons). Conditions of Entry • Everybody is free to enter for this one loft race; you can enter individually, as a partnership or a syndicate. The pigeons become the property of the Dutch Open One Loft Race. • The price for each pigeon is 125euro (£90 depending on exchange rate); there is no limit to the number of birds. Full payment is to be received before delivery or pigeons will not be placed in the loft. • There is room for 2,500birds, Future expansion is possible. • Birds can be entered from 1st April up to 25th April 2007, dates will be appointed within these for delivery. UK birds are to be delivered to Stuart Wilcox on appointed dates between 1st and 25th of April. • Each pigeon entered from the UK will incur an £8 delivery change (to cover the cost of shipment from England to Holland). • The training program goes through Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and Lille (Fr). • The pigeons will be transported in special wagons and are liberated separate from other organized races. • There will be training and hot spot races. It will be possible to bet on your pigeons. • All results will be on the internet. • The end race will take place on September the 5th from Paris (Euro Disney or the Eiffel). Plans are to liberate the birds as early as possible. • There will be a feast and refreshments for the final race; everybody will invited to come to Amsterdam. • After the race the first 200 birds will be sold via www.gps-auctions.com. The owner receives 50% of auction price for his/her birds. The 50% will only be paid if a pedigree is received within 20 days of the final race. • In cases not mentioned in this regulation, the organization decides. OFFICAL REGISTRATION. midnight_son Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 One thing I don't understand. What happens if your pigeon is 201st or further down the result thereby missing the cut off point of first 200 to be auctioned ? Do you get it back or does it disappear ? I've never sent to a one loft race but just wondered what procedure is in the above circumstance.
