Have to admit I am real pleased, besides a pld bird getting in I have seen a fight in  the loft when pairing. I left the hens from last seaon in the section I wanted tem to breed. Due to outside influencies like Ferals, I put them together early, the latter part of last week!

I just let the cock birds in, and they done the rest. Had two cock birds yesterday occuppying a spare nest box, so I chose for them and closed the spare 3 boxes down. Will admit that I am only mating yearling cock birds and they hadn't claimed a box before, but I have found that this far outwieghs attempts of introducing the hen to the Cock bird in this regards.
