Should be possible to breed one, after all choc is a colour and grizzle a pattern, so a choc and a grizzle should throw one for you? Others maybe fill in the genetics?

spot on bruno m8,ive seen the persons other choc grizzles ,and they are smashing looking birds.  i know u can get choc  pieds as well but his are deffo grizzles...paul

Last year I bred a choc grizzle from a black hen with white flights by a blue grizzle cock,of course you really need to know the colours of the grand parents too to increase your chances of success

hes got some cracking stock birds i think mick ohara has had some brilliant results with these birds off ray...............

I breed them now and then but Des Coulter certainly does and they are good ones give him a ring.

recessive red (chocolate) is not a colour gene and grizzle is not a pattern gene,they are both colour modifying genes
