But i had a Mail from Vic yesterday to tell me what was going on i replied but the mail came back. Vic sent me one today and i have replied to him again i do not know if he got it

I have tried to get the Fellow who built this website for me to take the site off altogether but he does not respond to my emails or phone calls i have phoned him today about 10 times without luck

I have now sent a mail to a friend in Holland asking him if he can delete the site for me I will let you know if i get any luck

Since we moved over here to Belgium we have a new website. www.patrickbros.be it is based on the old format but i can delete stuff and add to it, this was done for me by a friend in Holland. I am truly sorry but i have done my best and will continue to stop it in the end. I do not fully understand why people should recive emails from me as i have not sent any out from this website. As regards my computer and sending mail from it it is fully protected by Norton and is the best up todate version i can buy

Steve i had Norton anti virus and still had my computer crashed by a virus,i now use zonealarm and avg,and have had no problems.I downloaded them for free.Theres a link on this site where to download them.i will dig it out..

 

i bought avg and firewall, and they are great , alf gave me a copy of zonealarm and this picks out scores of things , two really good programmes and when my license expires for avg i will be downloading the free version as well

I have not sent out any emails to any of you fellows, I have not browsed this forum or any other for some time. If my Computer was infected then people i have emailed would let me know plus it would also i think do something to my computer to let me know something is wrong. I do know on my old site www.patrickbros.com the guest page is full of porn adverts, as i said i cannot change this site myself the person who made it is as far as i know the only one to change it and at the present time i am unable to get hold of him

My new website does not have a guestbook and is perfectly okay

I will do all i can to wipe off the old site once and for all but i cannot make someone answer me if they do not want to. I will write a letter to him tomorrow there is little more i can do. As for AVG i had it free for 3 months and i did not like it. My Norton system is the top of the range and i have had it for only 3 months

I have just had a reply from my friend in Holland and he tells me that the person who made the site is the only one who can remove it

I have done a full system check on my computer last night it also did one automaticly three days ago. i had no problems at all. What you must be saying is that my Virus system is not working correctly and it is

Plus i will tell you for the last time. I have sent none of you any emails at all now or any other time. All the Mails i have sent out to My Friends in Belgium Holland, USA, England. Trinadad. and France have recieved all the mails i have sent out without any problems, and the last two i sent out was one to you and one to a friend in France, The Friend in France has replied. so that leaves only yours and i have now sent you two mails of which you have not recieved.

If there is a problem on my Old Website and i repeat my old Website, i am doing all i can to contact the person who built it

How many of you Lads would ask him to wipe the website off for good, Not many i bet but that is what i want to do to stop this rubbish being circulated But since i replied on this forum all the Lads understand that i am doing all i can to stop this problem except yourself, You say you are still not Happy with the situation.

So; what do you want to do about it. Please do not send a private mail answer on this forum i am doing all i can, but its not enough for you so come up with a sugesstion, Heres one, You Blame my old Website which may prove correct, but now it seems my computer is at fault for me sending out mail to you Lads when none has been sent. What would you have me do Put a hammer through the computer which is only 4 months old. Lets here what you suggest

anti virus and firewall isn't enough, you need a good spyware as well. If you don't have anti spyware on your machine download spybot (free), you'll find it via google, you'll be amazed the stuff on your machine that is clogging up. Make sure when you do download you immediately check for updates, it will then provide you with the latest version and then make sure you press the immunize button and immunize. Then run the search and destroy it will take probably around 5/ 7 mins but it will depend what you have on your system.

I'm not trying to teach my granny to suck eggs but offer the following advice which you can choose to ignore but please no insults this is offered in good faith. The norton system is known to be 'poor'. There are industry standards where various firewalls and anti virus are tested. The top rated firewall at the monment is comodo (www.comodo.com) and is free, the top rated anti virus is avast (avast.com), this is chargeable, however I have it on 60 day free trial at present, however I'm pretty certain I've gone over the 60 day period so I'm not sure if they have relaxed their policies.

The bottom line however is that hackers are becoming so sophisticated, you can do everything in your power and still they'll get a virus /spyware through your defences. I also use max registry cleaner and ccleaner on my machine but I am paranoid when it comes to my machines safety, oh I also have automatic updates turned on for my windows operating system!

If you visit porn/sex sites then you are even more vunerable because this is where the hackers tend to congregate!!

It is supposed to be the very best Norton can provide and once again i will tell you that there is no problem with my computer

First it was my old Website which was the problem. Now it has got around to my personal Computer is causing the Problem when i keep saying i have not sent fanciers  posting on this Forum any Emails at all. Except to answer Vic. why should i.

I  have corresponded on the forum very little and i know no one personally

Now is the time for the talikng to stop because i have done nothing wrong and i will not be accused of things which i personally am not to blame for

One thing for sure If it was possible to find out the culprits causing these problems I would personally make sure he or they could not use there hands to operate a keyboard again

Any of you Lads having read my Monthly Articles in the BHW will know that, as i say it often enough in my notes, If you do please send me a mail via this Forum i would be grateful for any advice

I have never visted Porn Sites so that will not be the problem. When you have a guest page it is open to all as we have found out. But i do not only want to remove the guestpage but the entire website which cost me a lot of money to be done but if this is the best way to solve it, then that will be done.

I have now decided to Drive to the Persons House who did the Website for me It is 75 Miles each way but i will go tomorrow morning. If he is at work i will leave a letter in his Postbox explaining the problem, There is not a lot more i can do

Hi ex pat, it's allmost impossible to keep your machine clean these days..........no blame can be attached to anyone who is taking all the precautions such as you are.

It's pretty obvious that the guy you were with before is not playing the gane, he can quite easily remove the site and he should.  

If he won't the way forward might be to contact the internet service provider (ISP) that he rents his space from and make a complaint to them. I'm sure Wim will be able to help identify the ISP provider for you.

PS wasn't suggesting you have visited porn sites, I have (soft porn) and know that is where you get trouble from!!!

You keep refering to my Computer or the anti virus system on it. It is from my old Website the problem is occuring, not from emails sent out from my personal computer and i have sent out to my friends some forty mails in the last two weeks and had replies from them no bother at all.

As i said ii have done a full scan last night and an automatic scan a few days ago. There was No Problems both times and i have never had a problem with it. I have repeatedly told this forum that i have not mailed anyone from my home computer except Vic in a reply to him How many times do i have to say it.

I do not know any one on this forum and i think i have posted more in the last couple of days than i ever put on before

I may not be a wizard on computers but nor am i stupid. If my system tells me i have no problems then who in this world with a computer can trust the anti virus systems they have no one at all. Plus when i have not sent out these mails, and remember it is from my old website which is causing the problem it is the guest page which contains the rubbish

Again what do you and others wish me to do Break up my computer which is new. Buy another One, Use a Anti Virus and then it will be no differnce to the one i break up, or will it

I do not mind this Happening if it will make you fanciers happy, But once i get the all clear as i know i will, then it will be my turn to take action against  those who who are causing me grief simply because i am not believed. My good name is at stake here and i will not sit back and see it rubbished by anyone, so Please do  what i have said above and lets all find out once and for all.

I will go as i have said to the home of the person who made my site and ask him to delete the domain completly. I cannot do more than that, Today is impossible for me to find the time to drive 150miles

A Virus / whatever has the ability to go into a Computers Address Book / contacts and then does the rest it's self. It is collected with others and then store anywhere, and just repeats and sends out. I once took the plug out and when I switched on 3 days day I had umpteen people tel me to 'please stop send me viruses etc! Which Of course I hadn't. I got shot of Norton etc. and went to a freebie like AVG which the universities use. No problems, thanks to Johnny 11 forwarded it. I now use another freebie called AVAST and it has been great, first class since. his... well just has it all built in and WORKS!

So sorry all those that think that 'Patrick' is sending them, for the simple reality is probably that his Diary is now in a strangers hands and will go out as and they feel like it... Till the Net work catches up with them and stops it, which they will soon... then thay 'Play another one. It is a game to these people pitting witts against each other. Like the ole Poacher v Gamekeeper syndrome.
