Probably my best pigeon is Freddie,a very large blue pied delbar cock,he is by a pigeon called giant haystacks.Freddie flew the channel and raced for 4 years before I got him.He came to me as his owner thought he might do well in the show pen being a delbar [which he did],he is also my best feeder and peace keeper,he won't put up with any stroppy young cocks and really does keep the peace.His favourite time of year is the breeding season,he just sees the hen as a means to an end what he really loves are squeekers,he is the best dad in the world and he sulks when you take them away....he would feed them forever.Freddie is 9 years old now

had a few really gd birds but my old time favourite has to be Greedy Guts, Lefebre Dhaenen, although PJ could also be added he was a FVWxGeoff Kirkland, and The Lerwick HiLight, lefebre dhaenen. I couldnt pin point it to one

I had a staf van reet (don't know what lines) in 2002 topped border amal and won me a rpra award from Portland (219 mile)     and then..........Lost it week after from Cheltenham(124 mile) and had its ring reported at the base of a hawks nest  :'( :'( :'(.

But life goes on!

i had a mealy hen(sticklebaut/van geel) that looked the part(as members of my club commented on)she in just one season took 1st club reading 91mls,9th fed...4th club ramsgate200mls. beaten by loftmates 23rd fed....4th club lillers254mls beaten by loftmates 15th fed....4th club liege 381mls once again beaten by loftmates...didnt score in the fed this time. she had won 9 cards in 3 seasons b4 i lost her at brussels where she was reported dead in holland in a forest by a kind non fancier..ive had birds score higher but this one i remember cos she was always a tryer....paul
