pigeonpete Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 fantastic flying tammy lad well done yeah good flying tam mate, just try and put em on the transporter this week mate, instead of letting them out at the club :P ;D ;D ;D
me Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Angus Orr won his first race with our club yesterday (15/309, he sent 4) Coldstream 62 miles, away 1230 SW wind, timed 14:08 vel 1106 . Kindadreadful myself, 12 out of 13, 14:37 before I got a bird, vel 869, 2nd last (27th) in club. Otterburn next week, 80sumfin miles, only 6 days till me next drubbin. PS Don't ask about the Red Grizzle cock! do you have a team of sprinters bruno lad ? if the answer is no i would not worry too much . Winning races from 60 miles in the middle of april is all very well but if you excercise a bit of patience and wait for them to come into form naturally later in the season you will get your reward. Trust "me" And the Red Grizzle may turn up yet. Here's hoping as many of the birds having a chilly night out tonight manage to get back in the morning

Red Grizzle Cock - I am 'famous' for all the wrong things down at club, for example I hold the record for longest & shortest distances for reported strays: 700 yards and 700 miles respectively. Now RGC has made me famous down the club house [again ] when it landed on Co-op roof in full view of members , and in following 10 minutes drank the gutter dry ... bird was only 200 yards from home.
