jakjak Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 I am fed up with training and have given serious thought to flagging, however I am worried that the birds will not be so competitive, do we have any successful fanciers on here who simply flag their pigeons? i was hoping you could give me some advice on the subject, thanks
Wiley Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 alot of successful fanciers flag there pigeons, but when your pigeons are right they shouldnt need flagging

frank-123 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 one of the most successful lofts in scotland has the flag out everyday what else he does i dont know
stevebelbin Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 If you fly close to roofs, I wouldnt flag, just feed them fit! If you fly them on an allotment then flag them, but they need teaching from YBs to know what the flag means, i.e. flag up = flying, flag down = doors open and trap or get locked out.
