Simeon Turner Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 what do you think is the best breed of pigeon for up to 200mile I would say that you can't really go wrong with any Janssen type pigeons or Staf Van Reets upto 200 miles. I agree that most breeds will race upto 200 miles with no problem depending how you feed them, but I don't think you can go wrong with the strains I mentioned, provided you go to the right source of course.
jimmy white Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 maybe the new breed ,, the van celtics ;D ;D ;D theve won evey race up to now ;D ;D ;D seriously , if i wanted to win up to 200 miles , i would purchase late breds, bred only off the best [the actual multiple winners] from someone racing in my location ,racing on the same terrain winnig more than his share of winnings,,,no matter what the , so called breed is called,,,,,,,,but i would also tear this mans brains apart [ you cant buy this ;D ] as to how to fly them ,,,,,then i would beat him ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D [not all as simple as it seems ;D]
westy Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 well in my 2 races i have raced in ob i have clocked in a pigeon from mickie b flor engels and kirkpatrick cross putman and janseen cross putman but i could be any pigeon dont matter about the breed to me.
