chickadee Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 What happens when nobody claims a lost/found bird that has joined my flock?
Guest Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 First of all you need to be sure that you have reported the bird to the Union on the bird's ring. The Union will advise the owner that you have his/her bird and they have 3 days to claim it [arrange with you to get it home, possibly by amtrack or another carrier].

Guest Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 I've altered your original post on 'Found Birds' to show the full ring number. Hopefully someone with a GB ring list will help you with contact details.
PIGEON_MAN Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 This ring was issued by the National Flying Club you will have to report it to the R.P.R.A, 01452-713529 or report it on line.
