owen101 Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 nice logans there steve woldnt mind some of them myself
Guest bigbok Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 limerick tumblers are the latest addtion to the tumbler family they are a cross between shortfaced tumbelrs and muffs and flying tumblers i first saw these about 10-12 years ago and they were mainly of the almond series which is how they should have stayed in my opinion now they are a few other colour series in them they differ from normal tumblers by having a smaller beak and rounder heads and a bit more dumpy in the body at the moment they resemble english long faced muffed tumblers from around the 1950s but time will tell how they evolve over the next 30 years

Roland Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 You know, have toyed so often with having Tumbles/ Tipplers / Rollers etc. If had the room I most certainly would. If I ever do actually decide to stop racing I would have them. No two ways about it. Lovely colours and marks. Great to see them flying etc. Used to have them also as a youngster. Dad frowned and chuntered lol, and they had to be moved on. Gave them all away. Was sad really, but the garden was very small, Mother was a moaner regards pigeons etc. etc. If I ever get back into the countryside they will gotten. Be about a year on, after I'd made sure there were not Sparrow hawks etc. to harm them Lol
