wanabepunk Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Hiya guys! Was hoping you could clear a pub debate up - if you have a homing pigeon and then you move house, what methods can you use to get your pigeon to relocate to your new property? This went on for ages last night, so if you could clear it up once and for all, i'd really appreciate it! My email is wanabepunk@hotmail.com if any of you have the answers! Thanks a lot.
Roland Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Let out every 3rd day for starters, then fetched back if need be.. Needs to have and feel freedom. Then must feel safe. thirdly a desire to stay, so must be content in it's new enviroment. Also if possible feeding at it's new home onl.... one can before moving house if able, to take the birds to their new home and feed them there each and every day. They will soon be flying there to be fed.
