redflyer Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Nrcc pigeons up in west wind. no chance for racers below Peterborough as usual bad weather on its way north, heavy rain in Ipswich why do we bother!!!!
Roland Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Exactly.... to bolster the East coast clubs coffers ... or those above around Nottingham .... Lourth eh! And they class them as a 'Long Distance bird when winning either the Section and / or the National. Guess all round Lincoln would be a decent Location. But you may have a good bird.... you've done you wing, whim and a prayer, let's hope your 'Hopes' pay off. Mind I'm sorry to say my money won't be on you...

Ian McKay Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 The NRCC were at Thurso the weather in Scotland is beautiful it's the weather creeping in from the south west that is going to cause problems. Heavy rain and cloud cover
Ian McKay Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 That was the prediction Rose and it is traveling up the country
redflyer Posted July 15, 2007 Author Report Posted July 15, 2007 if going well should be over yorkshire somewhere whats the weather like?
Roland Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Yorkshire ... East coast now, they will be flying out over the coast line, Even out at sea a mite, regardless of the East Coast boys saying 'Our birds always come out of the West' lol...
Roland Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 If you could get your birds to break and come inland at Grimsby / Humber bridge you'll do blumming well, marvellous in fact! Good luck.
Guest Vic Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Yorkshire ... East coast now, they will be flying out over the coast line, Even out at sea a mite, regardless of the East Coast boys saying 'Our birds always come out of the West' lol... The knowsley smart arses always reckon theirs come DUE SOUTH' Thats why they all move EAST when they get a few bob. Ormskirk, as Dr Rigg once told me is an excellent vantage point. But how many open races do they compete in, east of their selected position. NONE! Some of these guys , should have been locked up years ago, with their fraudulent claims to fame. However can a NRCC flyer time a second pigeon somewhat 40 minutes behind his first and still take a prominent position, out of thousands of good birds, in a not too difficult race?POSITION IS THE DO AND END ALL! BUT I STILL LOVE THE GAME. Vic
