dust is a killer in the pigeon game dont understand why you all put it down in that white powder stuff ,when the sun is hinning in to your loft have a look around you and see all the wee particles of dust thats flying about and you teel me thats healthy , :P

Cant beat the loft floor grills clean twice a YEAR

If I was building a new loft it would be 8ft inside 6ft for walking on and 2ft below the grills

we use loft white most days/liome mix 1/2 times a week it burns worm/cocci eggs out saves on worm/cocci treatments got to be garden lime as the best is irish lime thats hard to get now i used sharp sand lime mix as a deep litter but as sammy says when dry to much dust but lime is a great bug kiiier so u have to get balence right for your loft

Scrape twice a day for 365 days a year. Loft white down then brush exess out. Spray once a month with virkon s.

your quite right sammy , but funnily enough for the humans ,, not the birds ,, the pigeons are well prepared by nature for it to harm them too much , their nostrils are differant to ours alltogether , but as said b4 on the forum its wise for any fancier to wear a mask [which i dont, but should  ;D;D]  [hope thats not you in a mask at the side  ;D ;D ;D]

most of the dust and particles u see comes from the birds and the loft and the same in lofts without floorwhite,
