hi, i was wondering if anyone could put me onto someone who is still racing logans or barkers in the distance races. im looking for an old english strain as a cross

I'm not sure matey...but wouldn't think that there a too many using the loggies......and if there are the strain will be extremely diluted now I would imagine.

I have a Logan cock that was bought from the Royal Scottish loft........and he is the real McCoy with papers................but knocking on abit now

In their day they were a bird to be reconned with over distance

Like White Rapido man said, there lines would be very diluted now if kept pure, and the racing and homing abillity would have surely have deteriated with continous inbreeding, possibly the reason why we don't hear many if anyone doing to well witht them in this day and age, but as rapido said many years ago the Logans were some of the best birds at the distance.

I've got Logans. A friend took a couple of YB to race this season but lost them!  I guess you can't judge from just two birds but I was hoping they would at least get through the training!! :(
