mobster Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 at what age would be suitable for a yb to start deworming?
PIGEON_MAN Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 I WOULD THINK THAT WHAT EVER PRODUCT YOU DECIDE TO USE IT WOULD GIVE YOU THAT IMFORMATION ON IT.
mobster Posted June 9, 2006 Author Report Posted June 9, 2006 for example ivermectrine. seen it at some site that they use it 3 drops per bird but they didnt include at what age to start using it for pigeons bec if we read the product information of ivermectrine, it is used for cattles.
PIGEON_MAN Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 PERSONALLY I DO NOT USE ANY THING THAT IS NOT FOR PIGEONS,I KNOW A LOT OF FANCIERS WHO USE IT AND I BELIEVE WITH GREAT SUCCESS BUT IT,S NOT FOR ME.

peterpau Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 I wouldn't worry about the age if they fly well but as soon as there's a dip in willingness to fly then look at worming. Ivermectin great stuff just don't over medicate
jimmy white Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 i would agree with p,p but if your really concerned why not get their droppings tested [its cheaper than wormer, tight scot ;D ;D]
peterpau Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Hey jimmy my ivermectin costs me £6 Can't tell ya where from though
