Pigeon Express is a Pigeon Courier Service aimed at improving the quality and care that should be taken when transporting Pigeons. At present the service is only open to the South East but if response is good plans can be made to expand the area of coverage.

Pigeon Express is a family run business situated in Hythe. Pigeon racing has been in my family since 1912. I first started racing and breeding pigeons at an early age when I lived in S*expletive removed*horpe. At present I am not able to keep Pigeons but I am still in contact with many friends made during my time in the sport.

Our aim is to improve the transportation of Pigeons by providing:

Same Day Collection and Delivery.

A Safe Environment for Transportation, no other items are carried.

A Sympathetic and Knowledgeable Driver that has the wellbeing of the Pigeon foremost.

Please email us with any comments or suggestions regarding our service as we are always seeking to improve.

The best way would be to franchise it or any other, but then again that's one of the problems with Amtrak

Although if it was a pigeon/bird/pet only then you would might be on to a winner :)

there is one which has been going in scotland for a few years,SPDS, it covers mainland scotland, would be good if this could jion up with one on the borders so we would have a full coverage,

dont see how, if the south delivery turned it over to the north then it would be the norths responsibility, if it was not turned over then it would be the south,

Aye but if something goes wrong as it may do, you are then dealing with more than one company, maybe three or more from the south east to the north east of the uk

Maybe the best chance would be all to agree terms and have a "call centre" to co-ordinate things then one finger on the pulse

I thought it was approx.£30.00 for up to 4 birds and £2.50 per extra bird. I have seen sellers asking for £35.00 but Louella only charge £22.50/4.

Seems there may be some add ons by some sellers :'( :'( :'(
