Williedoo Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 Well what can I say,my club Sunnybank 10 members sent 94 birds, thankfully 145 less than last week,Lib at 6.30 and at clock opening 18.00,11 birds timed by 8 members. This is the first time I have clocked a pigeon doing 341ypm and I hope its the last. We must learn from this and try to make sure it never happens again. People reading the first post on this thread yesterday(6.30 lib) must have looked out of their windows and thought, they are nuts. This is what happens when you take a chance liberating pigeons,we all new the forcast and made up our own minds to send or not. We must try to remember theres always next week.
WulDon Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 The Aberdeen Federation were liberated at Alnwick at 6.30 this morning ;) Good luck to all This is the £500.00 Nomination race ;D ;D ;D MMH... P40's all round then!!!

Williedoo Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 if the 500 bucks was not at stake would they doos have been put up ??????? Dont know if it made any difference to lib,I had 6 birds for the nom and only sent 2 of them, keeping the other 4 at home with my other y/bs. I would not have sent any if it was not the nom race,so this shows you that the money did change my thoughts about racing yesterday.
