MY NEW LOFT IS COMING VERY SOON,IVE ORDERED IT TO COME IN A GREEN COLOUR,BUT DO I NEED TO ADD ANOTHER PRESERVATIVE ON TOP OF THAT, I WAS TOLD ITS ONLY A WEAK ONE THEY USE,SO WHICH ONE WOULD MEMBERS RECOMEND

creosote is an ideal preservative  if u can stand the smell till it drys out.

ive creosoted my loft then when dried out , used a coloured finnish like cuprinol(which is deffo the best to use)cheaper versions of fence treatment aint really worth bothering with in the long term.spend an extra few quid and get the job done with quality.

make sure all wood is off the floor,as its a real headache having to repair the floor when it rots!.

plenty good stuff on the market but i have tried thomsons seal  [made by ronseal]

its for brick or wood ,,,then coated with cuprinol fence ,,shed preserver ,, does last longer ,,but looks lovely with a fresh coat each year,,like new :)
